Mouthwashing on Xbox Series X and S
Mouthwashing is scheduled for Xbox Series X|S and Microsoft Store PC on 29 October 2026. The US Xbox store lists USD 12.99 and Xbox Play Anywhere. The publisher announces Game Pass; subscription tiers and live launch entitlement were not verified.
What I saw
The Xbox store and the publisher announcement were read separately. The store price is one retailer quote; Play Anywhere and Game Pass are different licensing features. Xbox One support was not established from the publisher platform list.
What the stores agree on
Series X|S, 29 Oct 2026, USD 12.99, and Play Anywhere. The publisher list does not include Xbox One. A separate article claimed Xbox One. That claim stays in the “reported, not confirmed” column.
Microsoft Store PC is part of the same date. It is not a second game.
Game Pass
The official anniversary announcement names Game Pass for 29 October. The absence of a tag in a weekly list is not evidence of cancellation. No specific subscription tier was verified.
The current official store also lists a USD 12.99 purchase with Play Anywhere. Store pricing and subscription availability are separate facts.
Platform-specific limits
Status checked 28 October 2026. The publisher’s date is a scheduled release, not confirmation that a purchase can already be downloaded. No unlock hour, console file size, performance target or public build version was verified. PC language and storage figures are not assumed to apply unchanged to these editions.
Game Pass evidence
The official second-anniversary announcement explicitly names Xbox Game Pass for 29 October. That is a primary announcement, not an unconfirmed rumor. The earlier research records no Game Pass tag in Xbox Wire’s weekly entry, but that omission does not negate the announcement. The weekly page returned 403 in this review; no subscription tier, preload or live entitlement was verified.
The current Xbox store lists a purchase price and Play Anywhere. A zero-dollar license SKU is not sufficient evidence of Game Pass membership. Check your regional store and subscription tier at launch.
