Mouthwashing movie: confirmed, reported, unknown
On 17 October 2026 Wrong Organ posted “Yes it’s true,” confirming a Mouthwashing film adaptation. A release date, director, writer, cast, and trailer have not been announced by the studio.
What I saw
Omelete reproduces the developer’s 17 October post and describes it as confirmation of a film adaptation. Sony/Screen Gems reports trace back to DanielRPK; repeating that rumor across outlets is not independent confirmation. No release date, cast or official trailer was verified.
Confirmed
Omelete’s 17 October 2026 report embeds Wrong Organ’s public post. That is the basis for the developer-confirmation label. The post does not announce a studio, director or release year.
No official trailer exists. Videos that claim to be the teaser are not from the publisher.
Reported and unknown
Reported, not confirmed by Sony: Sony Pictures / Screen Gems, traced to DanielRPK. Multiplayer.it also reports that attribution, so it is another report of the same source rather than a second confirmation. Live-action is wording from Omelete alone.
Unknown: release date, director, writer, cast, rating, and whether the film will cover the whole plot. This page will not fill those with guesses.
