Mouthwashing’s played order differs from its chronology. This timeline follows events before the crash, the crew’s months aboard the stranded ship, and the final cryopod scene. Relative ordering is more reliable than forcing every chapter label into an exact calendar.
What I saw
The timeline compares the independent Wikipedia plot with the community chapter and timeline articles. The two wiki articles are one source. No exact day-by-day calendar or verified chapter-subtitle correction is claimed.
Before and during the crash
Jimmy is hired with Curly’s help. Anya is assaulted and later tells Curly she is pregnant. A psych evaluation, a birthday, and the layoff news sit in the days before the crash. Jimmy flies the ship into the asteroid. Curly is burned and cannot speak.
That block is the pre-crash half. The game shows pieces of it late.
After
About two months in, the cargo hold opens onto mouthwash. Swansea starts drinking again. Anya locks medical and later dies. Daisuke is hurt in the vent and dies. Swansea dies in the graveyard sequence. Around the five-month mark Jimmy uses the cryopod and kills himself.
The ending shows Curly entering cryostasis, not waking years later. Wikipedia’s roughly 20-year duration is a single-source description; no independently supported range is supplied here.
