There is one ending. Jimmy carries Curly to the working cryopod, tells him he fixed it, and kills himself off-screen. The view returns to Curly as the pod freezes. The game does not show Curly waking up.
What I saw
Wikipedia and the chapter account agree on the cryopod scene. The roughly 20-year duration is attributed to Wikipedia alone; no verified source for a 20–28-year range was found. The developer Q&A is primary evidence for the mouth-image explanation, while the broader moral reading remains interpretation.
What the scene does
Utility holds the only working cryopod, the one Swansea hid. Jimmy puts Curly in it. He says he fixed things. He steps out of view and the gunshot is the suicide. Guides and Wikipedia agree on that order.
The camera ends on Curly inside the pod. Whether he survives the sleep is not answered on screen.
What people argue about
The developers have described the image of leaving through Curly’s mouth as deliberate: Jimmy has been the voice. “Take responsibility” is the phrase the hallucinations repeat. Reading Jimmy’s act as a real repair, or as one more escape, is interpretation. The research log says the developers did not publish a shot-by-shot commentary.
A claim that Curly dies for certain is not in the two sources used for the pod scene. Leave it open.

Questions
What happens at the end of Mouthwashing?

Does Curly die?
His death is not shown. Jimmy leaves him in the cryopod; the game does not show a later awakening or rescue.
Is Jimmy sorry?
He says he fixed it. The developers tie the mouth image to him speaking for Curly. Whether that is repentance is a reading, not a caption.
Is there a second ending?
No. The Good Ending is an achievement, not a branch.
How long is the cryo sleep?
Wikipedia describes roughly 20 years (single-source duration). The game’s ending does not show how long the sleep ultimately lasts.
