What I saw
This account describes Jimmy through the cited plot summary and character article. His actions and unreliable narration are separated from interpretation; the ending is covered in the marked section.
What he does
He is hired with Curly’s recommendation, and the character sources describe him as jealous and broke. He assaults Anya. To avoid the consequences he crashes the ship and blames the situation on the captain who can no longer speak.
At the end he puts Curly in the cryopod and then kills himself. Wikipedia and a second guide agree on that sequence. A developer comment, cited in the research log, says the final walk out of Curly’s mouth is intentional: Jimmy has been speaking for him.
Name
The sources checked do not verify a legal given name or surname for Jimmy. Treat James and other expanded names as fan speculation unless an identifiable developer statement supports them.
Do not read player art that softens him as a second canon.
