Mouthwashing cargo bay
No spoilers — shown by default
This guide covers the cargo-bay door in Mouthwashing. The code and achievement method are hidden until you choose to reveal them.
The later blind-beast cargo maze is a separate scene; use the horse-maze guide for it.
Light spoilers — premise and context
The cargo door uses a scanner and a keypad. The order of your actions can affect an achievement; the exact code is in the full-spoiler section.
Full spoilers — story, solutions, facts and questions
The cargo door code is 4517. For normal progression, pick up the purple scanner on the cockpit floor, scan the dark panel to the left of the cargo door, then enter the code. To earn Cheater, enter 4517 before picking up the scanner at all.
What I saw
This guide compares public written sources checked on 2026-10-28. No gameplay test was performed. Specific details supported by only one source are labeled below.
The real door
Cockpit floor: purple scanner. Back at the cargo door: scan the left side. The code is 4517. Inside, the freight is mouthwash, which is the plot turn the story page covers.
Entering 4517 before you have picked up the scanner unlocks Cheater, according to the achievement guides. You can still open the door the normal way if you skip the stunt.
The other cargo
A second sequence reuses the cargo space as a graveyard with the blind beast. That is not a second code. Use the horse-maze page for the walking rules.
Do not mix this door with the axe box (2609) or the gun box (739).
Open the cargo bay
- Get the scanner. Pick up the purple scanner from the cockpit floor.
- Scan the door. Use it on the dark panel at the left of the cargo door.
- Enter 4517. The door opens on the mouthwash shipment.
