What I saw
The store screenshot shows Swansea beside the Polle statue and “Rise and Shine” poster. His role and the later graveyard sequence are described separately, with the latter marked as a spoiler.
The pod
He tells the crew that utility is sealed with foam. The sources say that is a lie and that the working cryopod is there, kept for Daisuke. After the crash he drinks mouthwash and breaks the sobriety.
The community timeline specifies 15 years of sobriety (single source). Wikipedia uses the broader description recovering alcoholic. These statements are compatible; the less precise wording is not a conflicting duration.
How his scenes end
Jimmy incapacitates Swansea to get into Utility and later kills him with the revolver. The graveyard encounter presents that conflict through Jimmy’s distorted viewpoint; it is not a literal location aboard the freighter.
